Darren Hayes is finally back with new music, and from the sound of things — i.e. first single "Talk Talk Talk" — the four years he took off from releasing material to recharge the creative juices was well-spent.
That snippet we heard the other day of the single doesn't really do the song justice. The whole enchilada is a rad mix of the dance-pop style Daz had been evolving into with his last two albums and the irresistible, hook-laden material that granted him commercial success to begin with.
Anyway, below is the first look at the "Talk Talk Talk" music video. As I mentioned the other day, the tune was produced by Carl Falk (Nicole Scherzinger's "Don't Hold Your Breath").
There will also be a B-side to the single when it's added to iTunes — a cover of Madonna's classic "Angel," which I'm imagining can only be a massive vocal improvement upon the original.
I am so effing happy this classy broad is back.
